Timis hoops | cuttlefish texture

Timis in Wolof represents the hour of prayer at dusk or twilight, providing a moment of reflection at the end of the day.

Our Timis hoops provide our own perspective on the soft, almost  mediative ocean ripples found at twilight - where our best moments of reflection happen.

The three quarter shape creating a clean, contemporary silhouette on the ear - with the flat surface accentuating the natural imprint.

Made entirely by hand, from natural and recycled materials - we make each piece by pouring 100% recycled silver into a mould of hand-carved cuttlefish bone.

As we make a new mould for every piece, each pendant has its own unique texture - like a fingerprint from the ocean.

We also texture both sides of the hoops, so you can wear different textures facing outwards each day.

These are also available in our sand texture - where you are welcome to send us sand from a special beach for an extra sentimental texture.
